I had a relative new trainee ask this the other day. I asked, "what do you mean?" I knew exactly what she meant, but I wanted her to find the answer. I stepped on the scale yesterday and I have only lost a couple of pounds. HMMMM! Okay, are you doing your homework? Homework?, she asked. Yeah, how are you facilitating your weight loss OUTSIDE of the gym? WHHHAAAAAAAA? You might have thought I hit her with a baseball bat. I have to do stuff outside of the gym in order to lose weight? I helped her break it down DJ Lance style.
168 hours in a week
3-5 are devoted to training (I guarantee you are doing the right things when you are with me)
Take out sleep and work and you are left in the ball park of 82.5 hours a week where you have to live the life you desire to have. that means eating for exericse, not for pleasure, resting appropriately, hydrating, and doing things to ease your stress. It's YOUR health. Take responsibility.
